At Brew Factory, we recognize the importance of protecting our planet and contributing to a sustainable future for generations to come. As a company that operates within both the coffee and cryptocurrency industries, we take our responsibility to minimize our environmental impact seriously. We are committed to integrating sustainability into every aspect of our business, from our coffee production to our Kawakami token.

Sustainable Coffee

We source our coffee beans from smallholder farmers who practice sustainable and ethical farming methods. Our focus on single-origin coffee ensures that we can trace the origins of our beans and guarantee their quality, while supporting local communities and their livelihoods. We prioritize organic and Fair Trade-certified beans, promoting environmentally friendly practices and fair compensation for farmers.

In addition to our commitment to ethical sourcing, we use eco-friendly packaging materials to reduce waste and minimize our carbon footprint. Our goal is to not only provide exceptional coffee but also to be a force for good in the industry by raising awareness about the importance of sustainable practices.

Carbon-Negative Cryptocurrency

We understand the environmental concerns associated with cryptocurrency, and we are determined to make our Kawakami token as green as possible. To offset the carbon emissions generated by the token, we invest in various green projects through our partnership with Ecologi. These projects include reforestation efforts, renewable energy initiatives, and promoting sustainable agriculture around the world.

As of March 2023, we have planted 8,130 trees and offset an additional 1 tonne of carbon through our Ecologi page. Our contributions have also helped fund green energy projects in Honduras and Mexico, demonstrating our commitment to environmental responsibility.

Recently, an anonymous donor generously donated 1 Ethereum directly to our sustainability efforts. We used this donation to plant even more trees, collaborating with the Eden Project and Ecologi to ensure the funds were put to good use.
